One of Liverpool's best loved TV stars 'The Art Attack Man' Neil Buchanan will visit Alder Hey children's hospital on Friday 7 October between 2-3pm to tour the awesome Alder Hey Arts initiative and its dynamic and varied Arts for Health programme. Neil will also present one of his brand new pieces of charity art - entitled A Little HOPE to the arts programme during his visit. After three years away from the cameras Neil Buchanan is back in his home city on the Friday 7 October to launch a brand new range of limited edition art at Rennies Gallery in Bold Street (6pm-8pm), which is based on his childhood memories growing up in Liverpool in the early 1960s and is called Neil Buchanan's HOPE STREET. The lively Liverpudlian has also painted an image especially to raise funds for the Alder Hey Imagine Appeal called A Little HOPE. The original has been reproduced as 495 limited editions ready-to-hang stretched canvas images, with 10 per cent of the sales price of every image sold donated directly to the Alder Hey Imagine Appeal. Neil Buchanan who created 500 episodes of the award winning Art Attack over 17 years and inspired two generations of young people to 'Try it yourself' will be touring the hospital to view the amazing Alder Hey Arts programme. Neil will also personally dedicate and present A Little HOPE (edition 1/495) which will be hung in the hospital.
